Louis was a mensch. When Elisha was younger, Louis would pick him up on Shabbat so he could see the Torah (otherwise he fit under the table). Louis would point out various parts so Elisha could see and maybe understand some of what he saw. After we moved, not only was there no one to pick him up, but when her wanted to look and see, we were told he was in the way. It was months later that the rabbi told me (I went for Yizchor by myself) to come, bring my husband and bring my son. He didn't care if Elisha was up and down or in and out. He wanted children. So, we came back and found our new home.
